Apple Tart
INGREDIENTS
1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
4 cooking apples
1 tbsp milk
whipped cream
2 tbsp caster sugar
Few drops of lemon juice

DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 170 degrees
Peel, core, and chop apples placing in a bowl of water with a few drops of lemon juice to prevent discolouration.
Line a baking sheet with greeseproof paper. Place one sheet of pastry onto the tray. Score 13mm mark around the outside of your pastry to give you a crust and prick centre with a fork.
Drain and pat apples dry. Place back in bowl with caster sugar and 1 tsp Country Baked Apple Pie Baking Spice and coat apples evenly. Place apples into the pastry square making sure to leave the crust uncovered.
Brush crust with a little milk to help browning. Put into preheated oven for approximately 30 minutes. Serve with fresh whipped cream. For even more flavour, fold in 1 tsp Country Baked Apple Pie Baking Spice to your whipped cream
